Today’s complex entertainment industry has demanded many changes for professional musicians. Keith Holmes has met this challenge by specializing in diversity. His accomplishments range from stage to studio, recording with the southern rock group “Molly Hatchet” (“Double Trouble Live”) to straight-ahead jazz ensemble work with drummer Les Demerle. Being a master of multiple woodwind instruments, coupled with his amazing sight reading and dynamic improvisational skills, Keith has become a highly sought after orchestra pit musician, performing with Broadway shows like “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Mame”, “Sugar”, and “Annie”, as well as on stage with such Stars as “Gladys Knight and the Pips”, “Della Reese”, “Lou Rawls”, “The Spinners” and many others.

Jazz festivals, television specials and performances have been an integral part of his career being a featured soloist with major jazz acts and star jazz performers. He has also performed in PBS specials aired in 18 countries with his own jazz group “Trayn” for which he was the main composer and arranger for the group.
