Jared Michael Hobgood started doing dinner theatre at the age of 12 in his hometown of Evansville, IN. After a couple of years playing clubs around the Lake Barkley area of Kentucky, JMH played the Ann Arbor area including the folk club "The Ark", a venue which featured musicians like Ritchie Havens and Chrissie Hynde. In Florida, JMH played bars and clubs in Tampa, Ybor City, Jacksonville, and Gainesville. Then he went to London to try acting and stand-up comedy in addition to music. With London as a homebase, JMH performed in cities all over England, Scotland, Wales, France, Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Italy and Turkey. After returning to the US, JMH fell in love with Key West and made it his home. In Key West, he has been voted "Best Irish Entertainer of the Year" and was runner up for "Entertainer of the Year." With Key West as his home base, he has continued to play far and near including cities in Spain, Costa Rica, & the islands of Cuba, the Bahamas, St. Maarten, Grand Caym
