It looks like 2005 is going to be James Marshall’s breakout year.

The charismatic 26-year-old performer has a new album, We Are The Dreamers, that’s the product of a year of songwriting and inspired performances by his band. “It’s a combination of acoustic ballads, mid-tempo Oasis-type tunes and a few great rockers,” says James, “and delivers the message of hope through tough times.” His fans can’t get enough and are making the CD a hot-selling item at his shows.

Add lots of Chicago airplay for his songs “Beautiful” and “I Can See a Liar,” and a loyal following in premier Windy City rock venues, and there is no question that James is poised to springboard to a national level.

What’s life like for a singer/songwriter watching his listener base explode? “My everyday life is like...that of a Rock God,” quips James. “But seriously, I write a lot, whenever it comes to me. My approach to the songwriting process is rather organic. It just kind of comes out of me.”
