Glyder are a young fresh Rock band from outside Dublin Ireland. The band marry Classic Rock with a unique modern sound and are all fantastic musicians despite their young age. To date the band have supported the legendary Thin Lizzy on their recent Irish Tour. They have appeared on national TV and internationally on radio. The debut album was recorded with legendary rock producer Chris Tsangarides (Ozzy, Priest, sabbath, Thin Lizzy) earlier this summer and is currently being shopped to the industry. The band are awesome live and could compete with any stadium rock act for crowd approval. The band have won the respect of many of rocks finest musicians . Glyder have pened for Thin Lizzy, The Answer, Wishbone ash, Bob Catley. They recently got a 5K live review in Kerrang and a 4K review for the debut album.

Young, fresh, original, vibrant, energetic, melodic, and determined to succeed would all come to mind when describing GLYDER Ireland’s foremost Rock contenders!

Sure their sound and style is somewhat retro but to anyone under thirty GLYDER are fresh, exciting and very different to any of the crop of punk metal or nu rock that proliferate here in Ireland/UK and the USA, nor are they as retro as the last gasps of mid 90s Brit rock………

They are unashamedly a modern style Classic Irish Rock band, younger ideas, and in new clothes………..and they owe much to Thin Lizzy, Hendrix, and Zeppelin and have no shame in acknowledging same, as well as contemporaries such as The Darkness, Foo Fighters and QOTSA

GLYDER may only be awhile out of their teens but make no mistake about it, these guys standard, both musically and stage experience wise, go way beyond their years. They formed just over a year ago just outside Dublin city. Played the Irish Rock circuit, quickly gained a fan base as they developed and fine tuned their very own unique style. In one year they played national TV, made a video, recorded a critically acclaimed debut EP received airplay internationally and supported Thin Lizzy on their Irish Tour.

Then Enter ………legendary producer CHRIS TSANGARIDES the man behind the production of many of the greatest world renowned Rock guitar based albums of all time. The match was made. Chris travelled to Dublin tailored the eighteen new original songs down to the best ten and by early June GLYDER found themselves in London in a studio recording their debut Album with their No 1 choice producer.

GLYDER’S debut album due for release this autumn is a no holes barred, in your face melodic Rock album. Ten razor sharp songs built around a solid rhythm section that rock out with clear vocals, clever lyrics, punchy guitar riffs, catchy melodies, and tasty guitar solos.
