Famine was Founded by guitarist Jeromy Martin in Corpus Christi TX. With his brother Aaron Martin on drums. After getting bored with the music scene in Corpus, the 2 left the others behind and moved to SA. After many tiring auditions, they found the perfect musicians to take with them to the top. Bass player, John O'larnic, was selected for his excellent time keeping and energetic stage performance. Vocalist, Rue, was selected for his broad range of melodic vocals to more hardcore percussive vocals. Also, he was selected for great, meaningful, sometimes sadistic lyrics and wild stage show.
