Latin pop singer/songwriter Edvin Ortega is set to feature great songs in both English and Spanish versions in his new releases. After a successful run with the group "3rd Block" he is releasing the ballads "Fadeaway" and "Corazon" and what is destined to be a dance club favorite "Insane". Originally born in Havana, Cuba the multi-talented artist is creating a great buzz in his hometown of New York. producing as well as writing for different artist in the genres of Rock, R&B, Christian Rock and Latin Pop. The Mercy College Music Industry and Technology graduate spent this past summer performing to well known hits on the stage of Playland Park and can be seen in the 2009 summer film " The Taking Of Pelham 123" which starts John Travolta and Denzel Washington.
