Dana MaKay - About Me

Dana MaKay was born in Gary, Indiana and moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1985. Her passion for music and songwriting started at a very young age. Over the years she has been inspired by artist such as New Edition, Keyshia Cole, Beyonce, Ne-Yo, Jill Scott, Mary J. Blige, Raheem DeVaughn, and Alicia Keys. Dana has faced life's challenges, and endured them with grace and determination, which is the heart of her music & lyrics.
