Being a singer, I chose instruments to play that compliment the voice. I started playing guitar when I was 13. I didn't start piano until I finally went off to college at the age of 27. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. I practiced piano about 3 hours a day for close to 20 years. I've cut back to about 6 hours of practice a week to keep up my skills. I perform in various places every week, and do a lot of recording work for others in my home studio.

Just got a Motif xs8 and am busy with the learning curve. I sure like the sounds. It's real easy on the ears. I look forward to the songs I will write with it. The sounds are inspiring me to write new music. Learning a new keyboard has also just given me something to do.

Where did the time go?

Music is in me. My mother tells me I would rock myself to sleep in the crib in perfect 4/4 time.
