Greetings Friends, Family, and Fans! Once again it is time for The Monthly Entertainer. If you no longer wish to get this epistle of awesomeness, just hit the unsubscribe button and you will forever be removed or send me an email and I'll take you off. In the meantime... NEW NEWS: And blink, blink just like that it's April. Lots of Zydeco was had as was lots of fun. And April will continue on with a lot more of the same. Plus a couple of i sing the sax electric performances! Speaking of which, I've got new tech for that show. I've upgraded the loop station to a different unit that has more channels. And that's fun. And I've swapped out synths using my new Wavestation in place of the Minilogue. While there are a couple of patches and a filter function that I deeply miss having on the live shows, the Wavestation brings new beats, crazy patches, and a deep of tonal variables that I haven't even begun to explore. Of course, these things are already creeping into studio productions. And there's NEW stuff - - Brand new track from No Ordinary Life called "River." River is a synth heavy track that's very atmospheric with beats. It builds and layers with sounds traveling around your ears and brain for a lovely, mellow little track that will be happy or sad depending on your mood. The youtube video is a series of vignettes of time lapsed cityscapes near Rivers. The day begins, proceeds, the sun sets, the night comes, as does morning. Brand new video up for "Stereophonic Psychosis" from Widespread Noise. This track is an abstract noise track created on the Moog Matriarch. It's heavy on overtones and filter use as well as stereo manipulation. It's not exactly white noise, or drone, or ambient although there are elements of all that in here. The video is colored ink plumes in water for an oddly peaceful experience. It's a great mental reset that take about 4 minutes. Click here for the video. Got some other stuff I'm working off.
