A composer and arranger for Big Bands, Brass Bands, film and TV music, Colin Skinner is a saxophonist in the John Wilson Orchestra as well as a musician in London's West End playing saxophone, bassoon, clarinet and flute . A finalist in English National Opera's mini opera competition, Colin has also written for the London Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Singers, the John Wilson Orchestra and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

Concert of Colin's arrangements and compositions was performed this week at he Royal College of Music by the principal trumpet of the John Wilson Orchestra- Mike Lovatt and the celebrated german trumpeter from Hamburg- Matthias Hof.
November 4th will see Colin's composition Weird Sisters, based on Shakespeare's MacBeth recorded by the BBC Singers in London for broadcast later in the month.
