Band's Bio

Clouds In The Sun was formed by Benny Ng in December 2009 and is based in Sydney, Australia.

Having been a vocalist for 5 years, Benny loves music from genres such as soundtracks, metal and pop. Citing "Linkin Park" as an inspiration, Benny has been writing songs for 3 years and he penned all tracks in Clouds In The Sun debut album : "Bright Core".

He describes the band's sound as "dark but bright at the same time" and "angry but hopeful". Therefore, you'll find Clouds In The Sun's music to be "heavy rock fused with soft ballad".

The bassist of the band, David Vasquez, joined the band soon after it was formed. David and Benny met at the Australian International Conservatorium of Music (AICM) and they quickly became friends. David is also a talented composer who specialises in making hip hop beats and bass line.

"Bright Core" - Clouds In The Sun's debut album - was recorded entirely at Benny's home studio and co-produced by Phillip Hill and Clouds In The Sun.
