Carleton Bovell is an acoustic rock singer/songwriter from Ottawa, Canada. His music features layered, loop based guitar textures and tuneful melodies.

Averaging more than 50 shows per year, Carleton has entertained audiences at hundreds of shows across central Canada, in the process sharing the stage with such well known acts as Tal Bachman, Default and the Skydiggers.

Songs from his two CD's, a self-titled 5 song EP (released January 04) and the 11 song album "Her" (released January 06), have been played on numerous North American commercial and college radio stations . Recently, Carleton's single "It Just Wasn't Love," was named a finalist in the Canadian National Songwriting Competition and the song "Goddess," which he co-wrote, was a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.

Currently, Carleton is performing and promoting non-stop in support of the "Her" album.
