Brittany Dawson has been performing as a singer since she was 13 years old. She was a member of a local performance group called "The LiveWires" until recieving the Hall of Fame award upon exiting, She has also performed at numerous weddings, church services, and other special occasions.
Though never classically trained, Brittany's voice is well developed. Although many former teachers have said she is better suited to ballads and showtunes, Brittany's songwriting style reflects more of an earthy rock, which she describes as "Sheryl Crow meets Matchbox Twenty".
