Born Thomas Matthew Erba in 1975, Bones is one of those multiple-threat music talents that makes most other players' lives and career paths seem simple. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to parents in medicine and academics, he studied classical music and had a successful run as a prodigious orchestral violinist, but gave it up to work as a composer. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, world-renowned film composer Hans Zimmer took a liking to Bones and offered him a writing position at Media Ventures, where he wrote musical compositions for such films as Gladiator and Tears of the Sun. Developing his solo material at home late nights, he gradually began to find his own musical voice...soon the desire to perform his own music took hold, and he left Media Ventures to launch his solo career. Performing all instruments and vocals on his first solo outing, his powerful Rock statement "I'll Wait For You", blends the fiery artistry of guitar and drumming skills with his captivating baritone.
