After an exodus from the industrial wastelands of Detroit, beaten through the mud and dragged through 99 weeks of unemployment, Bishops Collar has taken hold of working class rock in Brooklyn.

Influenced by the story telling and energy of Bruce Springsteen, while maintaining the unique character only seen in men grown in Michigan and the rustbelt, facing down hard times, Bishops Collar has been a staple at Brooklyn mainstay Spike Hill as well as Manhattan's Rockwood Music Hall over the past year.

Each Bishops Collar show entices the crowd to get in touch with the hard times this generation faces, all the while coloring the rhythms with guitar tones reminiscent of the Rolling Stones and U2. Having extensively played the midwest with bands such as Kings X and Hello Goodbye Bishops Collar moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2009.
