Zeitgeist

The boys have certainly done their hard yard playing the coveted Locobazooka festival in Boston, with Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Queensriche and other top acts, the festival has been a breaking ground for new acts such as System of a down and Silverchair and certainly has helped break the band in. Zeitgeist has on many occasions made the US and Australian MySpace top 10 charts. Catching the Eye of the Dave Rabbit show and becoming one of Dave's favorite bands, Dave asked Alex to do a 1 hour interview with 2.5 million subscribers listening in, and working closely with Howard Rosen (who promotes many famous acts including Everclear, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Phil Collins, Shania Twain, The Verve, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp, Eric Clapton, Lenny Kravitz, and many more) gained Zeitgeist airplay on US radio coast to coast. Described as sounding like Alice in chains mixed with AC/DC with a hint of Southern rock, Pink Floyd, Metallica stir well and cook "Rock Groove" setting for an hour or two serve with a side dish of Metal. We are here, we are gonna rock and nothing is going to stop us, we just want to write fat heavy riffs, and play the suckers.
The sound should be tight and punchy with lots of "hair" on the ... well you know. The music has to speak to you. Zeitgeist is currently working on a new Album and has decided if it can break in to the US Scene it can work harder building the grass roots scene smack bang in the heart of its local town Kalamunda and spreading out to all of Perth and then touring Australia.
