Music has been a thread in Steve's life since he was 11 when his dad handed him a guitar and a Johnny Cash album and asked him to learn the songs. In the tenth grade Steve's English teacher encouraged him to write poetry. Today as poet laureate of the Palm Springs Artist Center, Palapas, named "Best of the Road" in the Rand McNally '03 Atlas, Steve's poems and songs are displayed in "The Poet Tree" a popular desert attraction. Steve's first album, "I JUST WANNA BE IN LOVE" is on sale in the gallery store,Tower Records, CD Baby, Broadjam, and various stores from CA. to CO. "THESE COLORS DON'T RUN" has been played on radio stations and ships in the Persian Gulf. The upcoming "Welcome Home The Troops" concert in Twenty-nine Palms will feature "These Colors Don't Run" Steve's plays at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, BeachFire, The Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival and private venues all over the western states. Not only are Steve's songs original but his XOS Heart logo is a sought after trademark. HIs album, "I Just Wanna Be In Love" is a family favorite. Poet Laureate at Palapas, the Palm Springs Artist Center called

Steve's poems are on display at Palapas in The Poet Tree. During the season Steve plays his original songs three days a week and many weekends. You can hear Steve at The Coach House, BeachFire Bar and Grill, The Queen Mary, at the Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival, and many other venues around Southern California.
