The Vehicle Reason Biography

In just three years The Vehicle Reason has independently recorded and released two albums "Odds on Occurrence" and "Dead Reckoning", landed licensing deals with Los Angeles based BK Entertainment Group and Songs With Vision, scored song placements on two of MTV's top rated shows, toured their region and written a large catalogue of music. They performed at the Atlantis Music Conference and Festival in Atlanta, Georgia in September 2007 and South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, TX in March of 2008. The Vehicle Reason is currently looking for management.

A unique blend of many influences helped shape the sound of TVR. Award winning producer Alex Gerst of Indian Trail Recording studios states that the band has an original sound spawned from such influences as Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Death Cab for Cutie, Oasis, The Beatles, U2, Live, and Jimmy Eat World. These influences help create the band's edgy, artistic sound, without compromising hooks, harmony, and marketability.

Since the release of their album, radio stations stateside and abroad are currently playing tracks from the album. They are also receiving airplay on Sirius and XM satellite radio. The band was featured on two episodes of MTV's hit show "The Hills" in May of 2008 and the season finale of "The Real World" in July 2008. TVR released a new seven song EP title "Dead Reckoning" in September 2008.
