While only being together for a short amount time, Tyler Read, a small town band in Grand Cane, Louisiana, has already laid down a foundation and built the framework of what is rapidly maturing into a strong, powerful band.
From the beginning, the members of Tyler Read have always had a musical interest. Although the Johnson Brothers (Josh, Jordan, and Brandon) played together for years, it was not until the recording of their first EP, Angels and Devils, in March of 2003 at Precision DIgital Audio, that the band decided to reform and officially add Jeb Whitley, a childhood friend, into the group. Jeb’s in depth, personally revealing lyrics are drummed out in rhythmic cadences, which are then foiled to harmonize lyrically with Josh and Jordan. This gave the band an edge and added even more personality to their already colorful collaboration.
