Tiff Barbour

With her bold, powerful voice and disarming charisma, Tiffani Barbour possess a magnetism as intangible as it is irresistible. On the eve of her solo album, Tiff is already turning heads both on stage and off.

Her debut work, "Tiff's Record", was guided by the hand of Steve Halpern (Groove Bros productions). With her radiant voice and his musical guidance they created an album bursting with life, energy, and depth.

Tiff's versatility as an emerging female artist comes through in the drum 'n' bass influenced "Be with You," the percussion-filled "Happy Dreaming," the 80's inspired "You were on my mind," and the big band soul of "So Good." Dancing effortlessly from genre to genre, Tiff has arrived as an artist who defies pop music formulas.

Raised by a single mother in Baltimore, Tiffani recalls an early affinity for the arts. At age 3, she started singing in church, and by age 9 was enrolled in acting classes at the Arena Players Inc. Through junior high and high school, she supported herself through performance.

After moving to New York, she was hand-picked to join the cast of Fame and toured internationally for a year and half. Upon her return, she became the lead singer of Big Jack Fanclub - a unique musical collective that featured live music, rapping, and vocals. It was there that she first joined forces with Steve Halpern.

Tiffani was on a roll, landing multiple television appearances, additional theater accolades, and performing with various musical groups around the city. But the sudden passing of her aunt was a wake-up call. "Life is short" Tiff reasons, "I don't want to take anything for granted. So it is up to me to live the life I want, no matter what".

"Tiff's Record" is a reflection of this sentiment. With exuberance, joy and unmistakable style, Tiffani Barbour has created a musical masterpiece that celebrates life lived to the fullest.
