I'm a composer working mainly with a computer and synthesizers, sometimes an electric guitar. My light sound is often characterized by winding, textured harmonies, slow rhythms, and the melodies I try to make hooking and intriguing. Though I like to vary and I'm not limited to a single style or genre, and also timbrically I experiment a lot, using different instrumental blendings for each tune, with simulated-acoustic, pure-electronic and electric sounds.

Bio

At the age of about 10 years I took piano lessons for a year . I began to compose at the age of 15 years (in 1991), having no notions of music theory, with a Commodore Amiga 1000 computer, using an assisted composition program. I soon passed to software samplers on an Amiga 500, more difficult to use but with wider possibilities. For years I composed just "by ear". In 1995 I began playing electric guitar and took theory and practice lessons from Christian Lorenzi. In 1999 I passed from Amiga to a modern PC, and used software samplers, the hardware samplers built into my soundcard, a software synthesizer and little later a Yamaha keyboard, a selection of instruments to which later in 2001 I added a powerful Korg Triton Rack synthesizer. I also began to release my pieces on the internet, receiveng mostly positive comments. From the middle of year 2000 to almost the middle of year 2001 I published 6 albums on sale only online at MP3.com. At the beginning of 2001 I started taking flute lessons with Maria Grazia Tosi. At about the middle of 2001 I began taking music theory lessons from Paolo Peruffo, lessons which are now proceeding with good results for me. At the end of september 2002 I re-started taking electric guitar lessons, and re-started also taking practical keyboard lessons with Paolo Peruffo.
