Once described as "what would happen if you crossed Tracy Chapman and Dave Matthews", LEA's wonderfully warm vocals, smart songwriting and terrific guitarwork make her a force to be reckoned with both in her native DC (where she has repeatedly been nominated for awards) and beyond.

LEA has toured extensively on the east coast of the US and in Europe. She is preparing to make her west coast debut performance this spring when she joins the New Growth tour, which features positive and powerful messages from dynamic, young black women.

LEA's roots run deep with Gospel music. A 2nd generation member of the Jones Family Gospel Singers, she learned the spirituality and technique that has carried into her writing, recording and performance. This inspired DC native singer/songwriter has just released her 5th full length recording, Great Big World.
A multiple nominee of the WAMMIE's, LEA has performed extensively on the east coast of the United States. She has also toured repeatedly in Europe (focusing mainly on Germany, where she speaks the language). She is slated to make her debut west coast performance in LA as she joins the New Growth Tour to introduce a collaboration of powerful, young African American Female artists to the market.

Although her music is often categorized as Folk, but her sound draws from the Gospel, Jazz, R&B and even country roots that runs make LEA who she is.
