Biograpghy for Eddie Becker

Eddie Becker has been playing in Washington, D.C. and Texas/USA area since the mid-sixties. Eddie's guitar style incorporates many influences including Chicago blues, rhythm & blues and boogie that has allowed him to perform as a session guitarist for Roar Productions recording studios in Columbia Maryland during the 90's.

His big band features a dynamic four-piece horn section that brings a powerful presentation to the blues and original compositions. This year Eddie was a winner in the 2006 ASCAP Songwriter Showcase. Eddie was one of twelve winners selected from over 500 entries and performed his composition at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on May 1 2006.
