With musical influences that range from his roots in Gospel, to his educational training in Jazz, to his stellar on stage industry experience with some of the greatest legends in hip hop. Stix Bones is consistently hailed as one of the finest musicians in the tri-state area. Since graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance from the highly acclaimed Purchase College of Music in Westchester, NY, Stix has had the opportunity to perform with legendary hip-hop acts such as Doug E. Fresh, De La Soul, Mos Def, The Last Poets, DJ Scratch, and Lyricist Lounge. He has featured at Jazz venues in NYC and overseas such as The Minetta Lane Theater NYC, The Blue Note London UK, Le Boute De Jazz Paris France, and New York's world famous Apollo Theater.
