Steve Toll is a classically trained multi-talented musician and composer. He plays several instruments including violin, guitar, and keyboards and has a rich, soulful vocal style. Starting violin at the age of nine he studied with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and attended the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia in 1970.

Steve began playing guitar in the late sixties and toured the country with his band Maxwell promoting their hit song "The Freeze". While on tour he met musicians from the Duke Ellington Band and learned the standards of the thirties and forties which he incorporated into his repertoire. Steve has an intimate performing style in which he communicates directly to the heart and soul of his audience. His music is a fusion of many genres and styles which appeals to all ages and promotes his concept of Active Relaxation. Steve's composes and records music for Conscious Living and his new CD "Be Here Right Now" is available for download on itunes and amazon.

The importance of music has always been a critical element of Mr. Toll's life, which has inspired the development of programs for seniors as well as children. Mr. Toll has been a speaker for the National Alzheimer's Association and trains professional and family caregivers in the development of therapeutic music programs and conducts educational assembly programs for elementary and middle school students, which connect songs of America with themes in American History.
