And his Mom was a music teacher at the local collage where they lived. That being the first music influence for him tword learning about music. Being self-taught on guitar,,and with the knowledge that his Mom had,,along with the influence of the Pop music of the day,Scott combined the two elements into absorbing all that was around him. And, as in many cases,,his musical ventures led him to form his first band "White Ash" in HS. Playing HS Talent contests local dance clubs, party's,local bars all when he was only 16 yrs old! Many bars he was playing in at the time,he wasn't even "legal age " to even be allowed into the venues! But that was a different era than today, when if the talent was good, there was not really too much of an issue about it,as long as the "youngster" didn't try to drink alcohol! LOL Performing everything from the Beatles to Motown to Country and everything in between. All the while, developing his style/signature for his musical future to come. Fast forward a few yrs,,Scott moved up to the Concert theater club circuits,T-40 dance clubs in Metro-Detroit ,Canada.{Windsor area} Venues such as: "Studio Lounge,Punch+ Judy music theater,,Uncle Sams,,Tokin lounge,Suds factory, The Underground,Second chance and many more. In bands such as: "Hard Ensemble,,Jane,,,Savage,," performing originals and T-40 material. With positive feedback from the audiences that heard them perform And , in his off time, when not performing in clubs, Scott worked on his original music style/writing/recording. Then,,a few yrs later,,Scott was offered the chance to relocate to Northern California,,with some lifelong friends whom had moved there a few yrs prior. It wasn't any more than a matter of a couple of months that Scott was successful in landing a spot in the band "Medicine Man" playing 4 nights a week, every week , for almost 2 yrs. In T-40/Original music concert clubs and showcase venues. Sharing the stage as a support act for such artists as Blues legend "ELVIN BISHOP" from time to time. Wanting to expand on his original music works,,Scott formed the band "NO WAY OUT" and played many of the clubs/concert venues in the area. Sharing the stage as a support act for such artists as "JEFF WATSON" of the group "NIGHT RANGER" when Jeff had his solo band: "BARNABY WILD" And when not performing live,,Scott continued to refine his original writing style and recording work.
