Rick Seaton, a Denver native, has been an active performer on the local scene for over twenty years. Seaton’s music draws on new age, smooth jazz and pop sensibilities while employing a thoroughly classical approach to composition and piano technique.
Rick’s first CD, “Ivory Angels” is a collection of arrangements of favorite Christmas melodies. It’s a kaleidoscopic mix of styles and instrumentation - from serene to hard rock and all places in between.
Rick’s second CD, “Such Dreams” represents a new direction for the contemporary piano genre. It breaks the traditional boundaries of “new age” piano and takes the listener on an unpredictable yet thoroughly fulfilling musical journey.
