Short story of a dilusional

well...
Making computer electronic based music since 1988.
I and a friend started all this because ...
Many reasons were involved. The love for the creation process. To sculpt out of thin air something that can move to tears people you never met on the other side of the world, not that I ever accomplished anything like that but is a nice thought.
I was always nuts with electronics since a small kid, spending my weekly money in interesting things like english magazines and transistors... I was very popular obviously.
The computer revolution comes along and changed everything.
Went through many tries and fails over the years, including things created with orchestral real cellos, violas, non-trained singers and classically trained ones. Lost tons of money, etc. Played live with a classical quartet and a bunch of electronics to the mix. Careers of high profile Portuguese singers like Teresa Salgueiro and Ana Quintans were all part of the beginnings. If nothing else, proud of having being part of their start.
We, at some point, ended up with a "real" old fashion record contract with a band called Quinto Imperio - V Imperio - a producer and the unique and humbling opportunity to mix at the Air Studios, in London, to finished production of our album "Mar De Folhas".
Oh well. So, moved to London.
The point and the entire fun is not arriving at the destination, but the journey taken to get there. Cliche In know... but true.
