Randy Vera

His graduate studies in Philosophy at Boston College, a PhD Candidate, give Randy the credibility to write songs like "Bug Dialogue." He received his Master's in Philosophy, and a teaching position in world religions at Quincy College outside Boston. He is a soulful balladeer/storyteller with universal appeal and an accessible sound that connects with audiences of many differing spectrums.

It was actor Chris O'Donnell, who optioned Paul Stanton's Film 2001's "On the Line" (Miramax). Stanton, Randy's friend at Boston College, used Randy as the inspiration for one of the main characters in the film. Randy was portrayed by none other than "N' Sync's" Joey Fatone. "Ya, surreal! One of the writers, Paul Stanton, a bud of mine from school, told me Fatone's character was based on me. He asked if I was cool with it. I thought it was the coolest thing ever." Randy told the Boston Tab in a recent interviue.

Randy wrote his first Musical in 1998. He has written music for documentary film, as well as 4 full length albums. His current EP is titled "Stealing it Back" and is available in I tunes, and Amazon.com.
