Heather Braverman

Aware of her destiny from a very young age, New Jersey native Heather Braverman fell in love with entertaining. She began her career at age 6 starring in the off-Broadway musical, The People Garden, a show about kindergarten students learning life lessons. She continued in theater playing the role of Samantha in The New Kid at Random Farms Kids Theater, a musical written for middle school students focusing on positive self-esteem. While singing "Just Be Yourself," Heather encouraged her peers to avoid cliques and bullying. Soon after, Heather landed the role of Felicity in the musical, Circle of Friends at American Girl Place, NYC where she performed for 2 years.

Heather continued to pursue projects in which she played a positive role model as she began her film career. She starred in the Hoboken Film Festival's award nominated film, Cricket and the Little Girl Power. Playing Cricket, Heather led a group of talented girls to fight crime. More recently, Heather played the role of Samantha in Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life, a film based on a novel for teens by Wendy Mass. In the film, which won the best Family Picture award in the Garden State Film Festival, the cool fashionista Samantha lights up the screen, sharing her fortune telling abilities in order to help Jeremy solve an important mystery on his 13th birthday. In her most recent film, SPAZ, a film set in 1983, Heather plays the role of Lila, helping Oliver deal with the trials and tribulations of a 13-year-old coming of age.

Heather has performed on stage, screen and television and loves it all. Her network appearances include a variety of commercials and roles on Guiding Light, One Life to Live, and special guest starring roles on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and Law and Order: Criminal Intent. Heather has also performed with Leann Rimes on Disney's Macy's Day Parade float as Princess Jasmine.

She regularly performs for charities, including recent events held by the Food Allergy Initiative, Bergen County Women's Alliance, and Aids Awareness.

Heather's passion and interest in charity work is a very important part of her life. Both she and her sister live with life threatening food allergies and thus Heather dedicates herself to increasing awareness of food allergies on the national scale. Heather is a teen spokesperson for the Food Allergy Initiative and has participated in the Walk for FAAN (Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network) and was a featured speaker at the FAAN Teen Summit in Washington D.C.
