A Bit About Me

Pleasureground is currently a one man labour of love. Just me working away in my studio, writing and recording songs.

For a while I got sick of playing with other people due to politics in my 2 previous bands. I decided to see what I could do on my own, and the songs here are some of what has come out so far. Don't get me wrong - there is no substitute for pure chemistry among musicians, but if you can't find it, maybe it's waiting to find you, and you need to just relax and stop looking for it for a while.

I took it as an opportunity to get to know what's going on in my head - musically speaking - a little better. So, this is how Pleasureground began.

I'm back playing with other musicians again (and loving it), but Pleasureground is something that I can and will always do without ever having to worry about politics or stepping on people's toes. The songs on here were recorded at home on my Pro Tools system, over the last year and a bit.
