The Long Story of Oct 29

In March of 2005 two kids named Tim Schuetz and Andy Weber formed a band. The two started writing songs and practicing them in Andy's basement. Andy would usually play drums and sing, and Tim would usually play guitar, but sometimes they would switch it up. Their first song was entitled "Gone", it was a simple 1:36 second song that the two were very proud of (Although, looking back on it were not sure why.. haha". "Gone" was followed by "Pleasure Me", a song about a freaky, violent sex dream that Andy had, and it took off from there. The two decided they needed a bass player so they asked Carl Sauer (now bassist for Wicked Fate) on instant messenger. Carl agreed to be the bassist. The trio named themselves "The Pick-Ups". Carl left the band in mid-April because he was just too metal. Andy asked his best friend, who had no idea how to play bass at that time, Austin Smith, to join the band. Andy taught Austin some basic bass lines to go to the songs Tim and Andy had written. After learning the few songs they had, Austin created a bass line of his own, which would eventually become the song "Thousand Mile Accident". The trio entered their school talent show, and decided it was time for a name change. They had discovered that "The Pick-Ups" was already a band, so they changed their name to "The Kwijibos". Kwijibo was a word that Tim got from The Simpsons and spelled wrong. The band played their school talent show, and did ok during the night time performance (just a few tuning issues with the G-string) and did better during the daytime performance. The band played some parties soon after and everything was fine. This was until Tim started thinking about leaving the band, and he was addicted to Madden. Andy and Austin convinced him to stay for a few more shows. But eventually the two got tired of forcing him to play and let him go. He was replaced by his brother Matt Schuetz in August of 2005. They continued to practice in Andy's basement until one day it was decided that they would practice at their friend Martin's house, with him playing piano with them, they did this for a while and eventually Martin Novales was added to the mix. They played their first show together on October 29th, 2005. While watching a video of the performance, Austin noticed that the date in the corner said "Oct 29, 2005" and he said "Dude, lets name our band Oct 29. (Ahkt- Twenty-nine). In May of 2006 Martin left for personal reasons and he was replaced with Andy's best friend Noell Dickmann. That is how Oct 29 came about, and somewhere along the line Andy started calling himself "Andizzle Webbizzle" and Matt started calling himself "Daesho" and Andizzle added the word "the" to Austin's name making him "Austin the Smith". Andizzle calls Noell "Funny Bunny Pancake Face" but everyone else pretty much just calls her Noell. In the summer of '07, Mike Crisp, aka Crispy, was added as the bands new drummer, moving Andizzle to vocals and various instruments,as well as Bryan Boelter being added on saxophone.
