NUMBER ONE COMMON
Webster's New World College Dictionary defines Number One Common as '...the very best...shared by all or many...'

Within the often tumultuous realm that is Heavy Metal genre, traditional logic would suggest that such a description be reserved for the creme de la creme of the hopelessly contrived and pointlessly commercial. Although such flavorless fodder so often clogs our charts and airwaves, there is, fortunately, a solution. Ladies and gentleman, without further ado, Number One Common.

Formed in 1997 by vocalist Cory J and drummer Dan H, the Duluth, MN-based band intially suffered through numerous personnel changes before solidifying the line-up with the addition of guitarists Mikey T and Jeremy M, and bassist Jesse J.

Effectively channeling a plethora of both classic and contemporary influences, ranging from The Doors, Ice Cube, Nirvana and the Misfits to Radiohead, Slayer and Tool, the energetic and explosive group quickly armed themselves with a breathtaking level of talent and a truly deft stage presence that belies their youth.

With The 2001 release of their stellar, full-length debut American Murder Music, the group systematically attacked the regional music scene with ferociousness and intensity of a rabid pit bull, amassing a legion of bloodthirsty fans an ironclad, professional reputation in the process.

Touring multiple nights a month, often opening for established acts such as American Head Charge, Downset, Factory 81, Hatebreed and Relative Ash, to name only a few, the high octane group rightfully garnered attention on a truly impressive and widespread level.

Now poised to establish themselves on a national, if not international level, Number One Common have at long last arrived, the often stagnant music industry as we all now it is trembling at their feet. The question is, are you ready? Don't say I didn't warn you
