Songwriting & musical endeavors began at the age of 9. • Has the funny/odd ability of songwrite live in just few seconds after a member of the public sugests a theme. • Raised in Portugal, began entering songwriting contests to showcase her talents in her early teens. • At the age of 16, she won a song contest in her local area & this lead her to write, direct & produce her first musical. • Many successes followed & she began to make her mark in the industry. • National notoriety followed through print & television appearances. • Shannen has over 500 compositions in her song book & has written 3 musicals. • Danie Cortese Ent (who represented EMMY nominated) discovered her talents in 2003 & launched her music to mainstream radio. • Her first single, which was released to Canada & the US markets was a huge success! • Her music created a Buzz • Industry has compared her to Alanis Morissette • She songwrites, sing, plays, records and produces completly all of her songs via D.A.W. Her performing mark, is to play live with laptop or samplemachine. • In 2006, she released independently the album "L.A. Highway", perfoming it later at the FNAC Stores.
