The North Delta Music Project is a non-profit 501-C3 with a mission to bring good, original music to the Northeast Louisiana area. In addition to bringing some good tunes, we hope to engage the local community to support the arts scene and revive the downtown areas of Monroe and West Monroe along the Ouachita River.

The second season of North Delta Music Project is about to start and we want you to be a part of it. The whole point of NDMP is to bring more good live music to Monroe. NDMP has brought three new bands to Monroe in its first year including Feufollet, Walter “Wolfman” Washington and the Michael Foster Project. In addition, we were happy to showcase some of our most talented local musicians, Monty Russel and the Hardcore Troubadours, as well as Kenny Bill Stinson & the Ark La Mystics.

Our next show is set for Saturday, May 19th, 2007 and will feature Eric Lindell as our headliner. Government Majik will be opening the event with their blend of afrobeat and funk music. Both of these bands will be featured artists at this years New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. We hope you will take the opportunity to come out and see these talented musicians playing in downtown Monroe on the Ouachita River. The show will be along the riverfront boardwalk across from the Ouachita Parish Courthouse.
