Compared to the likes of Marvin Gay, No Doubt, and The Roots, Nile Groove, an accomplished and culturally diverse 6-piece Ottawa-based reggae, R&B and funk band has been grooving the music scene with its distinguishable sound and style; performing fresh, energizing, and infectious original and cover music since its 2012 beginnings live and on international airwaves.

Celebrating the release of their brand new 2017 album "Insatiable" as well as the successful release of their 2017 single "Why It Gotta Hurt So Bad", the release of their full-length 2015 debut album "Uncovered", and the release of their first 2014 single "Without You", this Canadian independent band continue to make noise.

Featured in numerous local and international interviews and live performances on the airwaves including CBC Radio, CHUO FM, CKCU FM, CHIN FM, and satellite radio stations world-wide, this versatile band has become everyone's jam by fusing elements of pop, soul, jazz, and disco with the genre of reggae, funk and R&B.

Continuing to groove top regional festivals, special events and community events, private functions, and legendary nightlife live music venues, Nile Groove, coined as Ottawa's own "Groove Machine" definitely delivers.

Nile Groove, an impressively stellar act is composed of talented and skilled musicians including Roxanne, Nile Groove's powerhouse singer-songwriter featured as one of the top five vocalists in the international Singer Universe "Best Vocalist Of The Month - September 2017" Competition based out of L.A.

Featured in the 2016 Chicago-based independent film "Darkness Has Covered My Light" with "Do You Mean What You Say", a reggae song from their "Uncovered" album and also featured as "Artists To Watch" in the 2015 April-June edition of Boston-based Skope Magazine, Nile Groove, a world-class band is on the rise at home and abroad.

Laying down their unique roots and quality vibes wherever they go, they are one of a kind and aiming straight for the top.

Scoring impressive reviews including a 5 out of 5 star write up by Number One Music Magazine with the release of "My Superhero", their brand new official music video from their second album "Insatiable", Nile Groove look forward to sharing upcoming releases of more official music videos in the New Year.
