After laying the groundwork with "The Assassin " mixtape, Brooklyn bred rapper Nice is quickly gaining momentum with the Imported Goodz street anthem "Murder By Numbers." Vernon project's own 18 year old phenom, backed by S.H.A.I. Management is setting himself up as a breakout star of '06.
Writing his first rhyme at the age of 13, Nice used rap as a way to express the street life as he saw it. Slowly developing his nimble wordplay on
mixtape freestyles, Nice has grown to composing songs that show promise of an illustrious career.
It's definitely a challenge living up to the legendary mystique that surrounds rappers from the planet of Brooklyn, but Nice in true form to his name is letting off warning shots to alert his entrance those already in the game. Armed with a smooth flow and a natural confident swagger that leaks through his lyrics, Nice breaks down his triumphs and struggles into crisp 16's offering the world a listen. The self described "hood genius" brings listeners on a voyage through NYC ghettoes with sometimes cold vivid imagery spit with a veterans understated aggression that belie his young age. On the flip side, Nice is among the few rare rappers to simultaneously balance both street and crossover appeal. As displayed on "Yeah Okay," simultaneously charming women and flipping the bird to haters, Nice extends his range to the clubs with another Imported Goodz produced heater.
No stranger to live performances, Nice could be seen tearing down the stages at Club Speed and Temple University. Capitalizing from his present hype, Nice has branched off into television recently shooting a commercial for Nickelodeon as well and an interview piece for Kicksclusive TV. Currently, Nice has his plate full completing his as of yet untitled album and preparing for an upcoming February Murder By Numbers video shoot.
