Nenah's music is sometimes dreamy, sometimes gritty but always gutsy. Music is in her blood. Her father, a bluegrass multi instrumentalist, filled her summers with music festivals and kitchen jam sessions. Nenah left home at 16 and moved to Toronto where music became a way of survival and comfort. She played blues,country folk and rock covers at coffee houses and bars while writing her own songs and experimenting with music genres. But blues and rock are in her soul.
