Fresh out of the music scene in Vancouver, Canada, Mother Down has been creating a lot of excitement here at home and across Canada and the US -Moshpit Productions is proud to announce Mother Down. With their first recording "Acid Tongue Girl," John Owen (vocals) Jason Palidwar (Drums) Rob Macdonald (Bass) and Johnny Savella (Guitars) have come together to generate some of the most entertaining and exciting live shows around. After completing a North American tour as the opening act for Hotter than Hell Kiss Tribute band, Mother Down has gotten rave reviews from clubs, print media and radio stations. All this combined with a killer album has gathered substantial interest from some of the major labels. Acid Tongue Girl the CD was recorded and produced by Mike Plotnikoff (Kiss,Van Halen, Inxs) and Paul Silveira (Squeegee Kids Noise Therapy, Hot Action Cop, Bare Naked Ladies, Nickel Back) at Vancouver's premier Armoury Studios.

ROB MCDONALD
with Jason Palidwar on drums, Rob has played bass for the past ten years in various bands including a country band called Trespass and a cover band called The Grind. His stop at nothing attitude combined with a solid playing style form a unique bond that is Motherdown’s rhythm section.
JOHNNY SAVELLA, a.k.a., Johnny5
Already a veteran musician and sound engineer, this young self taught multi-instrumentalist provides a professional and electrifying performance both in the studio and on stage. His experience includes working both in Canada and the US with known producers such as Eric Rosse (Tori Amos, Lisa Marie Presley, and Kristy Thirsk). Being extremely versatile in many styles of music he continues to work with artists such as Kristy Thirsk, RossVegas and of course in Motherdown playing the role of lead guitar with precision and fire no one can contain.
