The Mosquito Hollow Trio is based out of historic Cedarburg, Wisconsin along Cedar Creek. Playing at coffee houses, music festivals, and private engagements, Mosquito Hollow is rapidly gaining experience and credibility.

The Mosquito Hollow Trio is based out of historic Cedarburg, Wisconsin along Cedar Creek. Playing at coffee houses, music festivals, and private engagements, Mosquito Hollow is rapidly gaining experience and credibility. The group was formed on Onaway Island in Northern Wisconsin in August of 2005 with band members Jason Ziebell, Sam Arneson, and Phillip Quackenboss. Occasionally calling on the expertise of fiddler Jessi McIntosh, the group began making a name for themselves locally. While maintaining steady flow of performances, the Trio continued to flourish. In the summer of 2006, Phillip (banjo) left the group to pursue studies at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities. In Phil’s absence, long time friend and bass player Jon Manning has been a wonderful addition to Sam (guitar) and Jason (mandolin). Since August of 2006, the Mosquito Hollow Trio has vastly expanded its horizons, playing regularly, continuing to develop and learn. Rest assured this is no passing phase;
