Metro are a 4 piece alternative rock band from denmark. Formed late in 2007 by Australian guitarist Blake Gardner formerly of international major label act def fx.
Miriam, Rene, Klaus and Blake had a couple of jams and some amazing gigs, then spent most of 2008 writing and recording their debut album 'waking up is the metrolution'.
Crawling out of the studio in november 08 to play and surprisingly win 'global battle of the bands' in copenhagen saw the band recieve the award best new danish band 08 from Glen Mattlock former sex pistol and receive an all paid trip to london to showcase at the scala.
Now back in dk we are finalising all the small details for the release of our debut album. Welcome...
