Melotia is an LA based hard rock band that formed in August 2004 when singer/guitarist Ryan David moved to Los Angeles from Sydney Australia. The three piece rounded out with John Maryanski on bass and Clark Skelton on drums released their self-produced debut album "Every Waking Moment" on the in June, 2007 and proceeded to tour extensively through 2007 and 2008, hitting hundreds of cities in over 14 states. In April 2009 Melotia released a new EP entitled "Saving August Divine" and once again toured extensively to support the release. As of September 2009 Melotia have been working on new material and plan to release a full length in early 2010.

Melotia's self-produced debut "Every Waking Moment" was released on the 15th of June, 2007. The band toured extensively in 2007-2008 in support of their release, hitting over 50 cities in 8 states. Melotia just completed their Summer Kamikaze Tour (June/July) which saw the band performing shows in California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Colorado and Utah. Fresh off the road, Melotia are currently in the studio recording demos of new material. "We write music and lyrics based on honesty and truth. There are no gimmicks.", says frontman RD. "We've all been through a lot and it shows in our live show...". What you see is what you get and what you get is honest, in-your-face hard rock music.
