Born in 1975. Maze began experimenting with music at the age of 13. Soon, Maze's need for self-expression found a perfect vehicle: the guitar.

Songwriting became a necessity, and so began his search to explore ways of expressing, even the most complicated situations, through simple yet beautiful songs.

Although his passion lies in songwriting, his first full-length project was the creation of the soundtrack for a documentary about marine life filmed in the Caribbean during 2002.

His need to share and speak-out led him to record his first solo album titled "Speed of the Flow" in the beginning months of 2004.

Currently Maze is busy promoting his new album.

Crazy Nights

It is a crazy night my heart is beating like a drum
The rise in Fahrenheit between us seems too much to overcome
Something small ignites a light in you
Something dynamites the ice cause love is due

The love so strong within has fueled our minds with adulation
Crawling up our skin forming into downright passion
Everything begins and ends with you
Everything sinks in you’ll feel it too

I’m feeling fine
I’m feeling good
Tonight invites
my Crazy Nights

And as the magic goes away we feel the fading spotlight
Yet moonlit we remain until the come of twilight
Something is so right when I’m with you
Something is so right you feel it too

I’m feeling fine
I’m feeling good
Tonight is so right
For Crazy Nights

Be Kind

Be kind, the sun is going down
Be kind, the sun is going down

I’m guilty of no crime here
Yet sentenced by this bitter strife
To run away, disappear
Castaway from your life

I pack my thoughts in silence
Memories of happy times
Laughs and smiles; Seldom cries
Life would shine after wintertime

Ahh, the sun is going down
Be kind, the sun is going down
And grant this broken man a wish to ease his mind
Be kind tonight
Be kind tonight

We walk the path in darkness
Thinking there’s no need for light
We hit the ground; we learn to rise
We climb so high to be hit so low

Ahh, the sun is going down
Be kind, the sun is going down
And though we know I will be going for a while
Be kind tonight
Be kind tonight

Fellow Friends

When I’m sad and all alone and need to cry
I cast my eyes into the night
I think of my life and accept it as it comes
I think of all the things I dream

All through the years
I thought myself to be so strong
Now something’s changed
So many things I wish undone

When I think all said and done has made no sense
I raise my voice in impotence
I think of you and how you’re there to guide me
Through it all you are my friends

All through the years
I thought myself to be so strong
But when I’m weak
And there’s no strength to journey on

Stand by me my fellow friends
Help me now to make amends
Love me through this maze of turbulence
And when you think I need advice
When choices wronged seem to impend
Fellow friends stay close to help me strive

All through the years
I thought myself to be so strong
I could be right
Cause I keep singing on my song

Stand by me my fellow friends
Help me now to make amends
Love me through this maze of turbulence
And when you think I need advice
When choices wronged seem to impend
Fellow friends stay close to help me strive

Nature's Second Sun

I lead a simple way of life
I look for peace of mind in nature’s earth and sky…blue skies
The sweet smell of grass and rain
Reminds me of the prairies where we used to play and hideaway

And so I’ve learned
There’s nothing else worthwhile
It warms me as the sun
It makes me one
And if darkness comes
Making me wrong right
I say a single prayer
That helps me through the night

Love is nature’s second sun and has always shone
Life has just begun

I take a single gray day
And turn the rain to sunshine with a single say to wash away
The great taste of marmalade
Takes me to a time of games and lemonade, of kings and blades

And so I’ve learned
To cast my fears aside
To go through life unspoiled
It keeps me sane
And if darkness comes
Making me wrong right
I say a single prayer
That helps me through the night

Love is nature’s second sun and has always shone
Life has just begun

Goodbye Love

Goodbye love, it’s time to go
I don’t know where and I don’t know how
Can’t you see you mean everything to me?
Oh baby if you knew… my baby don’t care

I was afraid, I was terrified
To know my own self, I didn’t know my own self
Can’t you see you mean everything to me?
Oh baby if you knew… my baby don’t care

Feel my heartbeat softly sinking
Feel my heartbeat softly sinking
As it grows…
As it grows…

Goodbye love, by morning I’ll be gone
Your love has left me dry out of tears
Can’t you see you mean everything to me?
My baby don’t care

Feel my heartbeat softly sinking
Feel my heartbeat softly sinking
As it grows…
As it grows…

I wish you well, I wish you farewell
May you find someone nice for the good times and the bad ones
Can’t you see you meant everything to me?
My baby don’t care

Believe

He listens alone in the dark
Not really sure what to think
Something is lost in those eyes
Something is found in those tears

People will question this man
No one can catch us inside
Everyone wants the same thing
But we’re not really sure what that is

And I believe in you and me

I love how time passes by
Love the seclusion he’s in
Love how he treasures the light
Just as the day turns to night

And I believe in you and me

And as I see him walking by
I’m going to be the best I can
I won’t be there to crucify my son
And tell him that the river is dry and all we have to show for it is gone…

I love how time passes by
Love the seclusion he’s in
Love how he treasures the light
Just as the day turns to night

And I believe in you and in me

Mama, it’s raining outside
Mama, can I ask him why?
Mama, he’s up on a tree…
