Bio

Since 1990 he plays guitar with Italian and German bands, recording several albums for a German label. During this period he tours Europe and collaborates with Nick Griffiths, sound engineer for the Pink Floyd album "The Wall". In 1994, with a fiery arrangement of "Little Wing", he wins the Jimi Hendrix Contest promoted by the Italian Music Television. While the other guitarists were backed up by the full band, Max chooses to play solo, with just an acoustic guitar and, of course, he astonishes everyone. In 1995 another of his guitar arrangements is turning heads. This time the song is "Horizons" (by Steve Hackett), and it's published by Mellow Records in a tribute album to Genesis. In 1996 he graduates from the G.I.T. in Hollywood, California. During this year he has the opportunity to study and play with the incredible teachers staff of the school (Joe Diorio, Scott Henderson, Carl Verheyen, Steve Dudas, Keith Wyatt, Dan Gilbert, Ron Eschete, Jeff Richman). He also performs as a soloist at the world famous Hollywood Palace. Between 1997 and 1999 Max is the opening act for Jorma Kaukonen. In 2000 he collaborates with the world famous composer Pino Donaggio to a movie soundtrack for national Television. In the same year, together with his brother Marco, he founds Lostiguana. In 2001 Lostiguana releases the debut album "Pushin' " and has the honor to play with Tolo Marton as opening act for the living legend B.B. King during his Italian tour.
