At 24, Brousseau has decided to strike out on his own. In 2003, Matt packed his dog and guitar into his car and moved to Los Angeles. Within a year of arriving, Brousseau put together a band and was playing at top music venues like Club Lingerie and Universal Studios City Walk. Soon they were a regular attraction at the legendary Lighthouse in Hermosa Beach.

Born in Montreal, Canada, Matt began playing guitar at 14. At 15, he was writing one-chord songs he was too shy to play. College was three years of bands, gigs and classes on the side. In 2003, Matt packed his dog and guitar into his car and moved to Los Angeles. Within a year of arriving, Brousseau put together a band and was playing at top music venues like Club Lingerie and Universal Studios City Walk. Soon they were a regular attraction at the legendary Lighthouse in Hermosa Beach.
