Maria Staump is a Composer, Arranger, Music Producer, Multi-Instrumentalist, and the Director of Music Education for Staump Music School.

Maria Staump is a diverse composer. She writes in a wide range of genres, from singer-songwriter to Orchestral. In February of 2008, she released her first instrumental album, Mi Vida Bonita, and she is currently recording her Break the Box album. She has arranged music for various community organizations, and has had several compositions performed by the Grossmont College Guitar Ensemble.

Maria Staump is a composer, educator, publisher, performer, and business owner from San Diego, California.


Maria, and her husband Tim own Staump Productions LLC. Staump Productions LLC offers specialized services in composing, producing, recording, promoting, publishing ,and educating. Maria is an ASCAP publisher, and owns Maria Staump Publishing. Maria and her husband also own a social networking site for independent artist; www.staump.com.

Maria instructs over fifty students every month in her studio located in Santee, California. These students range from ages three up. Maria offers lessons for guitar, piano, voice, violin, and trumpet. Her students are taught music theory, composition, recording skills, performance, technique, and overall competency on their instrument. Maria finished her first album, "Mi Vida Bonita," in February of 2008. She is anticipating the release of her singles, "High," and "Invisible," as well as other various singles that will be released throughout 2009. She will also be releasing her full album,"Break The Box," featuring The Maria Staump Band, on 9-9-09.


She is currently involved in various projects. She is writing, recording, and performing as a solo artist as well as with her band. She is also composing for various independent film and television projects.
