I did my first music job in the 5th grade! I've played
high school dances, coffee houses and teen
centers! I started playing in bars at the age of 17.
Move to Austin, TX from Michigan!
I made the move to Austin, TX in 1992.
I've played the 6th street scene from 1992 till
about 2000. I have played and recorded with
Hand to Mouth, The band called Joe and The Joe
Richardson Express. I have been the drummer
and bass player for each of these bands.

I started promoting myself and competing!
In 2000, I started promoting myself and my guitar.
I started competing in the Mova Arts festival. In
2003, two of my songs made it to the semi-finals!
In 2005, two of my songs made it to the finals!
Both competitions had one song for Jazz and the
other song is Acoustic Alternative in the
