Hailing from Hammond, Indiana, L.U.V. was introduced to hip-hop as a way to escape the pitfalls of street life. As a child of the struggle, L.U.V. took his hustle to a legal level by forming Major Moves Entertainment, where he matured his sense of business and his sense of being a man. Showing strong ambition and long lasting determination, L.U.V. doesn't follow the trend, he sets the standard.
Influenced by a melting pot of artists and producers, more specifically, 2pac, Nas, Kanye West, and Andre 3000 of the group Outkast, L.U.V. is ready to unleash his presence to the hip-hop community with riveting verbal imagery and impressive chorus lines that motivate the crowd to new levels of enthusiasm. L.U.V. has graced the stage with the likes of veterans Talib Kweli & Bizzy Bone, and also hot regional acts like Coo Coo Cal and Ric Jilla.
L.U.V. is currently pursuing a strong, long lasting career in the industry while building a strong fan base nation wide. Appearing on several mix tapes which include, We on the Map vol. 1 & 2 (Feel Good Entertainment, Atlanta, GA), Looking Glass Vol. 1-3 (Next level Musik, Milwaukee, WI), and most notably the self-released mix CD Game Face Vol. 2, In Da Building , (currently over 3,000 copies sold independently by L.U.V.) mixed by Kid Scratch of Violator and Chicago's Power 92'. L also just returned from a powerful performance at Club 112 in Atlanta, GA in early 2005.
L.U.V. is currently setting the platform for his featured debut on Ric Jilla's Upgrade (219 in Da Building) (Legion Records, Chicago, IL), and The Land in Between Vol. 2 (Regime Records, Madison, WI), which is produced by platinum producer Ginx, known notably for producing Karma for Lloyd Banks of G-Unit.
