AUG 2001 FRIEND IN NEAR FATAL ACCIDENT
A close friend of Mike’s has a near fatal accident. Mike comes out of semi retirement to write a tribute song for his friend. Thankfully he survived.

SEP 2001 NO PRESIDENTS PROJECT BEGINS
Mike starts writing a 12 song concept album, taking a satirical look at every U.S. president from FDR to Bush Jr.

FEB 2002 LOVE MISSILE BEGIN REHEARSING
Mike goes into the studio with the initial line up of Love Missile.

JUL 2002 ME & MY MONKEY RECORDED
First of the No President songs recorded. This one takes a swipe at Ronald Reagan. Released in March 2003.

OCT 2002 LOVE MISSILE COMMENCE LIVE PERFORMANCES
Love Missile open their live account playing to 200 at The Forte Building, Hamamatsu.

MAR 2003 MORE RECORDING & ANTI-WAR GIGS
Send The Assassins (Eisenhower) & See Me Fall (Ford) recorded and released together with Me & My Monkey(Reagan) as the Washington Bullet EP. Also considerable media attention was focused on the bands anti-war gigs.

JUN 2003 RADIO SHOWS & CELEBRITY FANS
Japanese radio puts on a LOVE MISSILE special featuring interviews and music. Also the bands new website soon garnered celebrity interest from one Jon Stewart of The Daily Show.
