Mimi Dorsey and Ben Gomez formed the band Printed in Slovenia in 2002. The pair joined forces with Producer Ronan Chris Murphy to create their first full length project "And the Moon Said" in 2003. Bassist Doug Kirk joined on, and later Drummer Walter Baldwin. The group has played gigs in Bakersfield and Southern California, including the Music Mentor Conference at Downtown Disney, and opening for the band Chicago at the Bakersfield Fox Theater. With the departure of Gomez, the band has entered a new phase with guitarist Matt Melton, and adopted the name Loveday. The band will rtelease their new album in June, and begin their West Coast tour in July.

At 9 a.m. it's too early in the morning for Benjamin Gomez. It's too early for everything.
Hair in his face, still wet, voice raspy, the 25-year-old announces that he is not taking any pictures.
"Sorry," he croaks. "I'm the diva."
His fellow Printed In Slovenia bandmates, Mimi Dorsey, 36, and Douglas Kirk, 39, try to entice him over while the photographer prepares for the shot, but he doesn't budge.
"I'd rather speak in front of a crowd of 3,000 rather than take a picture," he says.
But they eventually get him outside for a shot near Goose Loonies restaurant on 19th Street.
He holds the guitar to his face the whole time.
